To DSC Or not to DSC - hybrid is the answer?

With DSC, you get extensive export and import options for a Microsoft 365 tenant, allowing you to manage your environment as a Desired State Configuration tool.

However, with all these options, keeping up to date and implementing changes correctly can quickly become a full-time job. Additionally, DSC doesn’t yet cover everything—so how can you be certain that your configuration includes everything required?

To address this, we began exporting our “golden image” with DSC to see what is included and what is missing.

By reverse engineering the exported configuration, we aim to answer the critical question: Do we have everything that is required?
